LED Turn Signal Light Bulbs Selection Guide

Series Recommendation

The 4KP8/4KP10 series LED bulbs with built-in decoders can solve most of the decoding problems that occur while upgrading LED turn signal bulbs in most vehicles, even for sensitive cars. Also, the top fan cooling to provide high brightness illumination is an advantage of this series.

102 high power 4014 SMD chips are arranged in 360°around the bulb in an orderly manner, the SMD components are selected to be more resistant to vibration and impact, which is a better choice for off-road vehicle turn signal light upgrade. And the lens on the top makes the light more focused and penetrating.

The LED bulbs of the 2US6T series are designed to be more compact in size than their halogen counterparts, making them easy to install in assemblies where space is at a premium. The compact, double-sided LED chips emit a more uniform beam of light similar to halogen bulbs.

AUXITO's hottest option - The 54H series with the compact lens on the top can achieve a good spotlight effect, and reduce light scattering, while the 360° illumination design greatly enhances the visibility of turn signals, and lets other drivers notice your intention to turn.

The 16K/14K series of LED turn signal series is fit for those who frequently use exterior light bulbs, because the chip in the bulb has enough clearance for cooling to prevent overheating, reducing the incidence of bulb failure.

Why am I having problems with my LED turn signal bulbs hyperflash?

If your LED bulbs are hyperflash, there are three possible scenarios:

1. the LED bulb is too low-powered to be compatible with your vehicle. It is recommended that a resistor decoder be installed to fix the problem.

2. the LED bulb is running too hot and trying to warn with a hyperflash. In this case, the LED turn signals need to be turned off to cool down for a few minutes before being activated again.

3. the LED bulb has been used for a long time and is nearing the end of its life, it is recommended that you repurchase the LED bulb to replace the damaged bulb in time.

Can I drive if my blinker is not working?

Driving with a malfunctioning turn indicator (turn signal) that renders the vehicle unroadworthy is illegal in most places. While alternative hand signals can be used, especially if the turn signal is broken, it's crucial to note that this practice increases the risk of accidents, particularly in adverse weather conditions. Therefore, it is recommended to replace damaged turn signal bulbs promptly to improve road safety.

Can I replace my turn signal bulbs with LED bulbs?

Yes, by upgrading your halogen bulbs to LED bulbs you will get a brighter turn signal view and faster response.

However, you need to be careful to check your model's owner's manual or the original bulb model number to make sure you are purchasing the correct bulb before purchasing the LED turn signal bulbs. You can also use the AUXITO filter to look up the bulb size of the turn signals used in your vehicle.

What color should turn signal bulbs be?

Generally, road laws allow turn signals on the front of a vehicle to be white or amber. For the rear, the turn signals may be red, amber or yellow.

However, the specifics depend on the road laws of each country and each state.

Why is there an issue with the dashboard reporting errors after installing LED turn signals?

Many modern vehicles come equipped with a CANbus system, designed to notify drivers of any application failures by displaying dashboard error messages. The CANbus system commonly checks bulb functionality by measuring circuit resistance. When replacing stock halogen turn signals with lower-power LED bulbs, the vehicle's CANbus system may detect unexpected information, triggering dashboard errors and potentially cutting off power to the LED turn signal bulbs. In such cases, options for resolution include replacing the bulb with a CANbus error-free LED bulb, like the 4KP8 series, or using a resistor decoder to address the issue.
