OVERVIEW
UNBOXING AND EXPLORING THE AUXITO 7-INCH ROUND LED OFF-ROAD LIGHTS

Right out of the box, I noticed that these driving lights have a modern look compared to the majority of the brands that offer 7-inch driving lights. The driving lights are nicely seated inside a protective foam inside a box. A separate space is allocated for the stainless steel hardware which offers different mounting options.

Overall, I really like the modern look of these driving lights!

Pictured above are the mounting hardware. I have arranged it in a way on exactly how they're supposed to be assembled.

The harnesses are packed in a separate generic bag. Here's a picture of everything you'll need to install these lights.

INSTALLATION GUIDE: STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS
Let's get to the point, I will provide a quick step-by-step guide for mounting the light brackets, attaching the driving lights, and wiring the lights. Installing the AUXITO 7-inch LED Driving Lights requires careful steps for successful integration. Proper installation guarantees optimal functionality.
LOCATION AND TOOLS
With the supplied stainless steel mounting hardware, the installation location of these lights are endless. For my application, I will be installing these lights on my ARB front bumper.
- Tools & Materials
- Socket Wrenches
- Pliers
- Wire Cutter
- Wire Stripper
- Zip Ties
- Screw Driver
STEP 1. MOUNTING THE LIGHT BRACKETS
Install the supplied mounting hardware to the bumper using the bolts and nuts. Insert the short bolt through the mounting hardware, place the rubber dampener, and install in your desired location. In my case, it is going to be on my front bumper. At the bottom, slip on the big spacer and then the nut and tighten using a 17mm socket.

STEP 2. MOUNTING THE DRIVING LIGHTS TO THE BRACKETS
Once the light bracket is installed, the off road light can now be installed to the brackets. Line up the light to the bracket and slide in the long bolt and tighten the end nut using a 13mm socket. There are also 2 small screws, place the locking washers in and tighten them using the supplied allen key.

STEP 3. WIRING
There are a few ways to go about wiring these lights. AUXITO has an available wiring harness from their website that is specifically designed for these driving lights. This wiring harness makes installation a plug-and-play process with minimal adjustments. Another way is using a control box with multiple switches.

Method 1 - AUXITO LED Driving Lights Specialized Harnesses
This is probably the easiest way, use the wiring harness with the DT connector on the AUXITO website.
Plan and route the wiring harness. Make sure you have enough slack to accommodate the driving lights as well as the cables that will connect to the battery terminals and the switch that will be going into the cabin.

Plug the harness to the driving lights. With enough slack, this should be a simple plug and play installation. Zip tie the wiring harness so it doesn't move around while driving.

Rout the wiring harness into the cabin. This is necessary in order to operate the driving lights on and off. This is probably the hardest part of the installation because this will vary between different vehicles. However, most of the vehicles have a spot in the firewall to run the cables into the cabin.

Pictured above is the switch cable going through the firewall into the cabin. Once the on and off switch is routed into the cabin, find a spot to install the switch.

Wire the black and red wire to the battery terminal. Black is negative and red is positive. Make sure the wire the RED wire first!

Test the functionality of the driving lights using the switch. If everything is working, you're done!

Method 2 - Using the Wire with DT Connector and the Control Box
Another option of wiring is through a control box. I am using the same wiring cable from AUXITO but will only be needing a certain wire from the harness.

I am going to use the wiring harness but only the connector part.
Cut the end of this wire just before the relay pictured below.

Similar to the previous instruction, plan the routing of the wire. Ensure that there is enough slack going to the control box. Plug the wire into the control box.

Because the control box is already routed into the cabin, no extra step is necessary. Secure the wiring harness using zip ties.

Test the functionality of the lights using the control box switch. If everything works then you're done!

TIME FOR THE LED OFF-ROAD LIGHT TEST
These LED driving lights give a nice modern look.

I really like these amber lights. They will be constantly ON and act as my daytime running lights. They work really well with the rest of my amber lights especially the AUXITO LED turn signal light bulbs that I have on the bumper.
One of the main reasons I installed auxiliary LED driving lights is for extra light output on the road or on the trail. As you can see, the road is completely dark and once the light pod is ON, the road is suddenly lit up and this is just using the AUXITO LED driving lights!

Pictured above is only the AUXITO DRL / Turn Signal bulbs.

REVIEW AND CONCLUSION: A BRIGHT ADDITION
Overall, the AUXITO 7” Light LED Driving Lights provided sufficient light on top of the high and low beam headlight bulbs. It also provided extra light on areas where the headlights do not cover. The off-road lights look very nice and modern and I couldn’t be any happier with the product, especially at the price point. These driving lights are a great addition to any vehicle and I am looking forward to seeing more quality products from AUXITO!

FAQ: INSIGHTS FROM INSTALLATION
AUXITO: Jason, What do you think was the hardest step in this installation? Any suggestions on this step of the installation?
Jason: Routing the switch wire into the cabin. Aside from the fact that the harness needs to be long enough, you need to find the right place to introduce your harness, such as through the firewall.
AUXITO: In what scenarios does this LED off road light help you the most?
Jason: Helps a lot when the road or trail has no light at all.
AUXITO: Where else would you recommend mounting the off road light beside the bumper location?
Jason: Roof rack as a light bar.
