Bulbs went in super easy (the design of the vehicle will have an impact on this) and they are significantly brighter than the outgoing halogens. The adjustment system to get the chip blade properly oriented was a little cumbersome, but not bad. Just took a bit more time and attention. But there's a dark caveat to these bulbs. My vehicle uses the high beams on an oscillating voltage output for the DRLs. These bulbs annoyingly flicker bad when trying to use the DRLs. Yeah, I know there's some products out there that "fix" that, but no, they really don't. The flickering is corrected, but your DRLs will run on full brightness, which is really REALLY annoying to anyone in front of your car, oncoming or not.SO!... If there's a product that can lower the DRL output without any flickering AND leave the full output high beams unaffected, please let me know.As far as longevity goes, I'll update that after I get some night time miles on them and also see how the heat of summer and the cold of winter affects them.
